7a0 Tips & Tricks — How to Win 7-0

Winning 7-0 in Sete a Zero isn't just about luck — it's about making smart decisions with every dice roll and player pick. These tips cover wildcard timing, position priority, drafting strategy, and common mistakes that cost players the perfect scoreline.

01

When to Use Wildcards

Wildcards let you re-roll and get a new team/year. They're your most valuable resource — use them wisely.

✅ Use a Wildcard When:

  • • You roll a weak squad with no players rated above 80
  • • The available positions don't match what you still need
  • • You already have a strong player in the position being offered
  • • It's early in the draft and you can afford to be picky

❌ Don't Waste a Wildcard When:

  • • The player is rated 85+ and fills a needed position
  • • You're in the last 3 picks — take what you can get
  • • You're hoping for a specific team (low probability)
  • • You only have 1 wildcard left — save it for a truly terrible roll
02

Position Priority — Fill Rare Slots First

Not all positions are equally easy to fill. Some positions have very few elite players in the pool. Prioritize these rare positions when they appear:

PriorityPositionWhy It's Rare
🔴 1stGKOnly 1 per squad, very few world-class GKs in the pool
🔴 2ndCDMOnly needed in certain formations, limited top options
🟡 3rdCB2-3 needed per formation, but fewer elite CBs than you'd think
🟡 4thLB / RBFullbacks are historically underrated — few have 85+ ratings
🟢 5th+ST / CM / LWAbundant — you can fill these late with 85+ rated players easily
03

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Drafting the best player regardless of position

Fix: Always check which positions you still need. A 95-rated forward is useless if you already have 3 forwards and no defenders.

Using all wildcards in the first 3 rolls

Fix: Pace yourself. Keep at least 1 wildcard for the mid-to-late draft when you really need to fill a gap.

Ignoring formation fit

Fix: Your formation determines which positions matter. Pick players that fit your chosen shape, not just the highest rated.

Always picking strikers first

Fix: Strikers are abundant. Fill GK, CB, and CDM first — you can always find a good striker later.

Panicking and taking a bad pick

Fix: If you roll a bad squad, use a wildcard. Don't settle for a 75-rated player just because you're impatient.

Quick Reference — Cheat Sheet

🎯 Draft Order

  1. 1. GK (grab Neuer, Casillas, or Buffon)

  4. 4. FB (RB/LB — rare and valuable)
  5. 5. CM (fill remaining midfield)
  6. 6. Attackers (ST, LW, RW — easiest to find)

Memory Mode — Extra Challenge Tips

  • 💡Memorize the top squads: Brazil 1970, Argentina 1986, Spain 2010, Germany 2014, France 1998/2018
  • 💡Know your football history — lesser-known tournaments like Hungary 1954, Netherlands 1974, and Uruguay 1930 have hidden gems
  • 💡Position knowledge beats rating knowledge — knowing a player's position is more important than guessing their exact rating
  • 💡Forwards are safer picks in Memory mode — even if you don't know the exact rating, a famous striker is usually high-rated
  • 💡Avoid obscure teams in Memory mode — if you don't recognize the players, use a wildcard
